Our MCA Semester III students had an amazing time during the 1-day outbound activity organized .The day was filled with excitement and camaraderie as students participated in various group games, fostering teamwork and creativity. One of the highlights was creating and presenting advertisements for different products, showcasing their innovative ideas and presentation skills. A delicious lunch provided by the college added to the joy of the day, ensuring everyone was well-fed and energized for the activities.The event was a perfect blend of fun and learning, achieving the objectives of our mentoring program by enhancing students' teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
Unforgettable Outbound Adventure for Batch 23-25 at Kolad!
Hey there, thrill-seekers of Batch 23-25!We've just returned from an absolutely exhilarating outbound activity that took us to the heart of adventure, nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Kolad near Pune.
With a spirited group of 85 students and 5 dedicated faculties, we embarked on a journey that blended adrenaline, team spirit, and nature's bounty. Our destination? The incredible Sterling Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad!
The journey was an adventure in itself as we traversed the enchanting Tamhini Ghat. The picturesque landscapes and winding roads set the stage for the excitement that awaited us.
Upon reaching the resort, the real adventure began. We dove straight into a world of heart-pounding activities that pushed our limits and brought out our inner daredevils.
Zipline: Soaring through the sky, wind in our hair, we embraced the feeling of flight as we ziplined through the lush greenery.
Burma Bridge: A test of balance and courage, the Burma Bridge had us traversing wobbly ropes and wooden planks high above the ground. The view was breathtaking, and so was the challenge!
Kayaking: The tranquil waters of the Kundalika River became our playground as we navigated the currents, paddling together and creating memories to last a lifetime.
Tarzan Swing: Just like the iconic jungle hero, we swung through the air with a mix of fear and excitement. The rush was indescribable as we let go and embraced the free fall.
But the adventure didn't stop there! We delved into team-building activities that fostered camaraderie, cooperation, and communication.
Longest Chain: Linked together, we formed an unbreakable chain, a symbol of our unity and interconnectedness.
Round and Round: This activity taught us the power of collaboration as we worked together to achieve a common goal while navigating through twists and turns.
And let's not forget the delicious food that fueled our energy and enthusiasm! The resort treated us to a hearty spread of breakfast, lunch, and high tea, satisfying our appetites and recharging us for more action.
This outbound adventure was more than just a trip. It was a journey of self-discovery, bonding, and pushing our boundaries. We've returned with memories etched in our hearts, new friendships forged, and a sense of accomplishment that comes from conquering challenges together.

On December 7th, 2022, a field visit was organized for MCA second-year students at Boat Club, Thergaon, with the aim of promoting an inclusive environment. The event was designed to allow students to celebrate their differences, learn from one another, and create new opportunities for communication. Games and team-building activities were conducted, providing students with the opportunity to understand and appreciate individual differences in terms of personality and skill sets, allowing them to complement each other effectively. The visit proved to be a successful experience for all, as both students and staff enjoyed the entire event, which helped to promote a more inclusive and cohesive environment within the group. Mr. Sanjay Mathapati coordinated the activity along with all the Group Mentors. 100 students participated in this activity.
As part of the Induction Program, the MCA Department took the initiative to organize an outbound activity at Sunny's World-Life in Funshine, the Best Adventure Park and Resort located at Pashan Sus Road. The objective of this activity was to develop synergistic team spirit among the students and inspire them to live in harmony by understanding the impact of their behavior within a team. A total of 103 students and five teachers participated in this event.
To promote team building, various outdoor games and a competition called the "longest line" were organized. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to engage in thrilling adventure activities such as Zip line, Rock Climbing, and Rampling. It was heartening to see everyone's enthusiastic participation in these activities. The students also relished a delicious lunch and high tea during the event.
In the evening, the students had a delightful experience enjoying a rain dance. The entire visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students and staff members. Ms. Vandana Pednekar efficiently organized this activity, ensuring its success.
The outbound activity at Sunny's World-Life in Funshine not only provided an enjoyable experience for the students but also helped them develop essential skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and understanding the importance of their actions within a team. It was a memorable event that successfully fulfilled the objectives of the MCA program at IICMR.
On the third day of the Induction Program, the students were filled with excitement and arrived promptly for an engaging outbound activity organized by IICMR-MCA. The activity took place at Kasar Rio Resort, providing an excellent setting for a day filled with fun and adventure.
At the resort, the students had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports activities, including various games and sports. The students also enjoyed a thrilling trekking experience, immersing themselves in the beauty of nature while fostering a sense of adventure and exploration. Furthermore, they had the chance to go boating, creating unforgettable memories on the serene waters.
The day was not only about physical activities; it also offered ample opportunities for the faculty members and students to bond and get to know each other better. Throughout the day, they engaged in meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and strengthened their relationships. This quality time spent together fostered a sense of camaraderie and built a foundation for a supportive and collaborative environment within the MCA program.
To ensure everyone's energy levels were sustained, the resort provided delicious meals at regular intervals. The students relished the scrumptious food, fueling their enthusiasm and enjoyment throughout the day.
The outing to Kasar Rio Resort proved to be a remarkable experience for the students, as it not only offered thrilling activities but also facilitated meaningful connections and interactions. The students left the resort with cherished memories and a stronger sense of unity within the program.
On September 7, 2019, the MCA Department organized a field visit to Thergaon Boat Club in Chinchwad, Pune, as part of an outbound activity for MCA-II students. The objective of this visit was to provide students with a unique learning experience and to promote team building among them. Mr. Sanjay Mathapati took charge of conducting various activities and team building games during the event.
A total of 67 students and 8 teachers enthusiastically participated in the activity, making it a vibrant and engaging event. The Thergaon Boat Club provided an ideal setting for the activities, offering a beautiful natural environment and a range of facilities for recreational purposes.
Throughout the visit, the students were involved in various team building games that aimed to foster cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills. These activities challenged the students to work together, strategize, and overcome obstacles as a team. Such experiences are invaluable in helping students develop essential qualities that are required for success in both personal and professional life.
Additionally, the students had the opportunity to explore the various amenities provided by the Thergaon Boat Club. This not only provided a refreshing break from routine but also allowed the students to appreciate the beauty of nature.

The MCA Department took a proactive approach towards achieving the main objectives of Group Mentoring by organizing a field visit to Kamet Adventures in Dahuli. This visit aimed to develop synergistic team spirit among the students and inspire them to live in harmony by helping them understand the impact of their behavior on the team. Additionally, the visit sought to enhance the students' soft skills, including presentation skills, public speaking, and team building. Dr. Deepali Sawai, along with eight teachers, accompanied the seventy-six students on this outing.
The field visit offered a range of activities that contributed to the fulfillment of these objectives. The students had the opportunity to engage in thrilling activities such as trekking and rappelling. These activities not only challenged them physically but also encouraged teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Every participant actively took part in these activities, displaying their enthusiasm and commitment.
Furthermore, the students had a chance to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area by visiting a nearby waterfall. This added an element of relaxation and rejuvenation to the visit, providing a refreshing break from the daily routine.

The primary objectives of this visit were to develop a synergistic team spirit among the students and inspire them to live in harmony by understanding the impact of their behavior on the team. Dr. Deepali Sawai, along with eight teachers, accompanied the 49 students to these locations.
During the visit, various activities focusing on team building were organized to engage and challenge the students. These activities aimed to promote effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among the participants. By actively participating in these team building exercises, the students learned the importance of working together harmoniously and the positive impact it can have on achieving shared goals.
