Parents' Meet
Thanks to all amazing parents who joined us for an insightful session organized by IICMR MCA on 31st January 2025 at 10.30am through both the online and offline modes
The event started with Lamp Lighting by Dr. Deepali Sawai, Chairperson ATSS ,Director IICMR MCA and Esteemed Parents of our students.
Then Welcome address was given by her in which Dr. Deepali Sawai eloquently outlined the objectives of the parents' meet, achievements and future plans of MCA.
We're grateful for the support and enthusiasm of our parents, and we look forward to continued collaboration for the success of our students!

Parents Meet 2023
Parents’ Meet was organized by the IICMR-MCA department on 1st July 2023. The parents of first and second year MCA students were present for this meeting. Dr. Deepali Sawai gave the welcome address and briefed on the objective of Parents meet as a conclave of Parents and Teachers for the benefit of the students. On this occasion, academic toppers 2022 were felicitated. Ms. Meghna Mokashi, TPO shared information about pre-placement activities and Placement Strategies. Ms. Kiran Shinde informed about upcoming Add on courses and training. Mr. Sanjay Mate conducted games for the parents. The formal meeting was followed by a one-to-one interaction of parents and course teachers.

A Parents’ meet was organized on 2nd July 2022. Parents of MCA-I & MCA-II students were present for this meeting. Dr. Deepali Sawai gave the welcome address and briefed on the objective of Parents meet as a conclave of Parents and Teachers for the benefit of the students. Ms. Kiran Shinde, Coordinator MCA-I shared information about academic and pre-placement activities conducted in college. Mr. Sanjay Mate, Coordinator MCA-II shared his experience for 2nd year students that due to online mode it was difficult to arrange activities for students.

Parents' Meet 2021 (A.Y. 2020-21)
A Parents’ meet was organized by IICMR MCA department on 23rd July, 2021. It was organized online through MS Teams due to COVID-19 pandemic situation. Dr. Deepali Sawai gave the welcome address and briefed on the objective of Parents meet as a conclave of Parents and Teachers for the benefit of the students. She described it as a great opportunity for parents and teachers to develop a healthy and strong relationship for the holistic development of the students. Dr. Deepali Sawai detailed the institutional objectives and the various initiatives undertaken to accomplish the objectives. She has emphasized on initiatives by the department like soft skill sessions, employability enhancement program, training for International Certifications, Japanese training, mentoring activities etc. Ms. Kiran Shinde, Coordinator MCA-I shared information about academic and co-curricular activities conducted online mode. Brain gym activities and some interesting games were conducted for parents by Mr. Sanjay Mathapati and Mr. Sanjay Mate. Glimpses of student engagement activities were shared with the parents.

Parents' Meet 2021 (A.Y. 2019-2020)
Parent Meet creates a strong bond between Teachers, Parents, and Students. Like every year IICMR MCA had organized the Parent Meet 2021 on Saturday 23rd January 2021in online mode using MS Teams platform. Dr. Deepali Sawai, Director, welcomed all and briefed about trust ATSS, Objectives of Parent Meet, Achievements in 2019-20, and future plans for MCA. Mr. Sanjay Mathapati , Coordinator MCA III and Mr. Sanjay Mate, Coordinator MCA II shared their experiences with the students. Student Engagement Programme details were shared by Ms. Vandana Pednekar. Parents and students shared their views and experiences with Teachers. Dr. Priya Deshpande, proposed vote of thanks.

Parents Meet 2020
A Parents’ meet was organized by IICMR MCA department on 1 st February, 2020. Parents of MCA I and MCA II students attended the meeting. The program started with auspicious and traditional "Deep Prajwalan" by the parents with Dr. Deepali Sawai, Director -MCA and the faculty members. Dr. Deepali Sawai gave the welcome address and briefed on the objective of Parents meet as a conclave of Parents and Teachers for the benefit of the students. She described it as a great opportunity for parents and teachers to develop a healthy and strong relationship for the holistic development of the students. Dr. Sawai detailed the institutional objectives and the various initiatives undertaken to accomplish the objectives. Mr. Sanjay Mate shared his observations during the team building activities conducted. He added that students are good at their day to day scheduled activities but a little motivation from the parents’ side can do wonders. The parents enjoyed the games arranged as an ice breaking activity. It was instrumental in parents to gel with and to open up and share their views. The following initiatives by the department was greatly appreciated by the parents 1. Meditation conducted every morning. 2. Soft skill session 3. The personal attention given to each student 4. Parents' Meet 2019
Parent meet was organized on 19 Jan 2019 for the parents of MCA-I & II. Dr. Deepali Sawai welcomed parents and detailed on various activities of MCAIICMR & the institution as a whole. She appreciated achievers She said that Hackathon has provided students a platform to interact with IT industry experts Mr. Sanjay Mate expressed his observations as MCAII coordinator. He shared that co-curricular activities have boosted the student's overall Parents shared their views on their ward's learnings from the institute. They appreciated the efforts taken by the institute. Parents enjoyed the games arranged for them. The formal session was followed by an interaction of faculty members and the parents on one-to-one basis.

Parents' Meet 2018
A Parent meet was organized by IICMR MCA department on 8th January 2018. Parents of MCA I and MCA II students attended the meeting.The program was executed in two sessions.The first session of program started with auspicious and traditional "Deep Prajwalan" by parents with Dr. Deepali Sawai & Dr. Abhay Kulkarni.Dr. Deepali Sawai welcomed parents and gave a detailed report on the various student activities organized by IICMR, MCA department and theinstitution as a whole. She shared that the she is proud to say that the faculty members are efficient in their field of expertise. She appreciated Hackethon participants and other achievers duing her talk. She added that it would provide the students a platform to interact with IT industry experts.Dr. Abhay Kulkarni gave new year wishes to parents and stressed on strengthen the basic knowledge and think out of box. He appealed the parents to share in the meeting about the growth they have observed in their wards after taking admission in IICMR.Mr. Sanjay Mate articulated his observations as second year coordinator. He shared how the co curricular activities have boosted the students overall development. Mr. Mahesh Deshmukh, TPO shared the Placement plan with the parents. The parents enjoyed the games. The parents also shared their views and thoughts regarding child behavior , logic building. They appreciated efforts taken by the institute for overall development of their ward. Ms. Asmita Choudhari and Ms. Gazal Nashte compeered the programme and Ms. Priya Deshpande proposed a vote of thanks.The second session was the interaction with the parents. During this session all the faculties interacted with parents one to one basis. Parents enquired about attendance, performance in various activities and other regarding their ward.

Parent meet was organized by IICMR MCA department on 18th January 2016. Parents of MCA I and MCA II students attended the meeting. Parents' Meet 2014
As every year, this year too parent meet was organized by MCA Department. Program was inaugurated by lighting of lamp at the hands of Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni ,Executive director and Dr. Deepali Sawai ,Technical director and Parent. In the welcome address, Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni, expressed her thoughts and explained about need of parent meet. She also told to increase dialog between parent and mgmt. which helps to improve the students performance to get settled. Dr. Deepali Sawai, Introduced about all the activities conducted by MCA Department. She introduced Mentoring system Class, Group , personal the most valuable activity for student. Prof. Priya Deshpande, as coordinator MCA I and Member, personal Mentoring MCA II, shared her experiences about one to one Mentoring. She also explained about working of earn and learn scheme at IICMR for students. Prof. Renu Mathew, as Coordinator MCA II and Member, Personal Mentoring MCA II explained about the placement , different trainings for students , industry needs and importance of certification.In between , for ice breaking , parents were asked to play the games such as musical chair, and Mrs. Pirjade , Mr. Kute, Mrs. Rao, Mrs. Bankar were declared as winners.In addition to Teachers, some parents enthusiastically shared their thoughts. Specially , Mr. Basate parent of Ms. Priyanka Basate, recommended to develop the system which explains different current technologies. He shared the problems faced by students in industry such as cultural mismatch, language barrier etc. Mr. Kumbhar, parent of Amol kumbhar, professionally working as Primary teacher, focused on education system needs to be improved for economically weaker student.
